1. Amazon Cloud Music Storage

Top 6 Best Cloud Music Storage Services - Amazon Cloud Player

Official website for Amazon Cloud Music Storage.

What we likeIf you are a newcomer to Amazon Cloud Drive, you’ll receive 5 GB of storage for free. Each time you purchase any kind of music from the Amazon MP3 service, it will be automatically synced, and stored in your account. However, regardless of the size of songs, they will not be counted as part of your Amazon Cloud Drive storage limit. It works on any computer, or Android device, and besides storing music, you can also add videos and photos to the Amazon music cloud storage.

What we don’t likeAmazon Cloud Player isn’t available for Apple’s iOS, which is a bummer. You can’t create playlists that include both local and cloud music files. The web-based Amazon Cloud Player is known to work a little bit rough, from time to time.

2. Maestro Cloud Music Storage

Maestro.fm is One of The Best Cloud Music Storage Services

Official website for Maestro Cloud Music Storage.

What we like: The Maestro cloud based music storage is available for iOS, Android, PC and Mac with users having the option to share personal playlists, connect with friends, and search for new songs. Its remote storage feature automatically stocks all of your music online, while you listen to it. Auto backups prevent losing a vast library of songs, acquired in God knows how many years. Users can also stream playlists to MySpace and Facebook. It’s one of the best free music cloud storage services you can use right now.

What we don’t like: This cloud storage music service doesn’t have an intuitive website design, thus making the user-experience quite frustrating. Music player controls are not adjacent to songs, and tracks in your playlist will not be highlighted when they are playing.

3. Google Music Cloud Storage

Top 6 Best Cloud Music Storage Services - Google Play Music

Official website for Google Music Cloud Storage.

What we like: Google Play Music is considered the best music cloud storage. The recently redesigned radio stations feature is just fantastic. It lets the user pick a radio channel from a list of particular situations that you might be in – such as music to listen to while cooking dinner or commuting to work, music to stay in bed on a lazy Sunday morning, and so on; Afterwards it lets you choose a sub-genre, before it provides a comprehensive list of themed stations. Users can also store about 50,000 of their own songs on the Google Play Cloud Music Storage. It works for both iOS and Android, as being available on the web.

What we don’t likeUnfortunately, it’s solely web-based, and desktop users don’t have a specially-made app. Recommendations are a hit and miss, more often than not. User interface is clunky.

4. Deezer Music Cloud Storage

Top 6 Best Cloud Music Storage Services Includes Deezer

Official website for Deezer Music Cloud Storage.

What we like: It’s one of the best cloud music storage service with a a diverse song catalog. Users can take advantage of the service’s unlimited amount of storage space. Create and share your every playlist with other Deezer community members, and make your own radio stations where other users can listen to. It’s available on a plethora of operating systems including iOS, Android, and devices such as Xbox 360, and Kindle Fire HDX.

What we don’t like: You can’t add songs that exceed 10 MB, regardless if you pay for a premium subscription or not. The app is bound to freeze and even crash from time to time. Furthermore, it’s rather lackluster as it doesn’t offer the same amount of features that you would get by opting for any of our first three entries.

5. MyMusicCloud Music Cloud Storage

MyMusicCloud is One of The Best Cloud Music Storage Services

Official website for MyMusicCloud Music Cloud Storage.

What we like: It’s one of the best cloud storage for music as it offers an unlimited amount of space, as well as the option to sync music files straight from your Dropbox account. You can view lyrics, crop and mashup ring tones, and share your favorite tracks with your Facebook friends. If you choose a free account, you can use it on up to 5 devices, and sync and play up to 250 tracks – however, you will have ads.

What we don’t like: If you plan on using the cloud music storage free option, you’re in for a whole world of pain as ads are relentless and they will stop at nothing to make you buy a one year sub.

6. iTunes Match Music Cloud Storage

Top 6 Best Cloud Music Storage Services - iTunes Match

Official website for iTunes Match Music Cloud Storage.

What we like: The iTunes Match music storage cloud has a great and diverse library comprised of all the songs found in the iTunes Store – north of 26 million tracks, that is. You can upload up to 25,000 songs to the cloud – mind you that purchases from the iTunes Store don’t count!

What we don’t like: There’s no iTunes Match cloud music storage Android version. The Google cloud music storage, while not the best one in town, caps the upload at 50,000 songs, for $10 a month, which is far better than what iTunes Match offers. It’s inconsistency is annoying, as the service tends to not work properly when you absolutely feel like listening to your fave tracks.
